What’s your BIG dream? My BIG dream, was in 2001, when I wanted to change the world with “World Kindness.”
I worked with several people, committees, sponsors and volunteers to produce Kindness Conferences. This is how I got Heart@Work launched. You can read more about it on their website.
When I started Sedona Pies, I just wanted to help feed the hungry..the people who were not eating well, or didn’t have good nutrition or just didn’t know where to go to get fed. These people were hungry. I just wanted to use my pie business as a vehicle for social change. I closed my business for awhile. I’ve had quite a few people who have encouraged me to Think Big! Take it Mari-Lyn build it to something bigger.
I want to share with you about my friend Kathleen O’Bannon
Speaker, author, nutritionist, motivator
She’s working on a food project with a special vegan, raw, food that can cure malnutrition and one formula has an herbal ingredient known to cure more than 300 diseases. I’m working on getting funding to do infomercials to sell it to regular people (baby boomers and millennials) to use in place of all the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It’s just food, not a pill. And I’m also looking for an NGO to order it ins 500 Kcal packets to end malnutrition and build the immune system of those with malnutrition or HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Kathleen is seeking a fulfillment house. She just needs the basic funding of about $30K to make the labels, have nutritional analysis done, prototypes made. And about $1.5+ Million USD to get it fully launched.
There are many more stories of people who want to make a difference for Social Change.
My blog post is really about I want you to think about, set an intention, of planting a seed for something BIGGER in your life. Ask yourself is it really big enough for you? Every action or dream makes a dent in our world.
