San Jose Chamber of Commerce
“We know shoppers will head to the big box retail stores on Black Friday and shop online during the following Cyber Monday, so we are urging that folks patronize downtown and neighborhood business district retailers and cafes on Small Business Saturday.

“By spending local, you help employees keep their jobs, owners keep their doors open, and local government get tax dollars they need to provide essential services,” Mahood said. “That’s good for you too: It keeps your neighborhood business district alive and healthy.”
